I have been in financial services since 1998. In that time I have worked for Pearl Assurance and An Independent Mortgage Solution in Belfast. I set up my own firm in 2009, offering financial planning advice, mainly in areas such as pensions and investments. I believe that everyone needs financial advice at some stage in their life. It is up to me to offer that in a confidential, knowledgeable manner. I offer different levels of service to suit the different types of clients I have. I keep in regular contact with my clients in order to keep the information I hold up to date and to let them know that I am here for them should they need my services.
I am an Independent Financial Planner, that mean that I have no restriction on what I can offer you. I must be able to offer you advice on the whole of the market. I believe that results in clients receiving the best advice possible.
Networking to me is one way of growing my business. In order for me to stay in business and keep looking after my clients, I must grow. Networking currently is providing me with around 50% of my new business. So would networking work for your business? It is a definite yes. It does take time to build relationships and should be seen as a long term strategy but it really does work.
